The Knights of Columbus is an international Catholic lay
organization with more than 1.5 million members in the United States, Canada,
Mexico, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, and several other countries. Our local
council is comprised of members from St. James parishes and has 45 members. Our
mottoes are Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.
Our membership contributes much in terms of man-hours,
financial assistance, and vocations, Right to Life, scholarships and many other
worthwhile events. Do not be concerned about over committing yourself. The
Knights understand that many of the members have obligations which may limit
participation, but test assured, JUST YOUR BELONGING WILL ADD STRENGTH to the
Council and support for those who are able to be more active in furthering the
works of the Knights of Columbus, particularly in the area of Catholic
Christian values.
For more information, please contact the Grand
Knight (Bob Pyle) or one of the members.
